Fall Treasure Hunt Update and Fall Cards

I have TWO people that have turned in their Treasure Hunt Clues.  How far along are you?  Remember, you only need 50 clues even though we have over 50 demonstrators participating.  You have until October 30th to get your clues to me.  All you have to do is email me your list of clues and which blog you found them on to stampinwdawn@hotmail.com and you will be in the drawing for $150 in FREE STAMPIN' UP MERCHANDISE of your choice.

Now for some fall cards.  These are some cards that I make for Kathy B.  She was the club hostess last Saturday.

How could you NOT LIKE the Googly Ghouls stamp set.  I just love the Googlie eyes.  I had a few club members that just loved the eyes also.  They would shake their cards and just start to giggle.

For this card I got the idea form another demonstrator on the candy corn.  Are they great.  I used the Petite Pennants Builder Punch for them.  If you look closely at the BOOOO, you can see I used the Decorative Label Punch on the Ends.  I also used the Chevron Textured Embossing Folder on the Gray.

This card was based off a sketch that I had found.  I used Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper and a piece of retired designer series paper.  I used the Day of Gratitude stamp set.  I inked it in Island Indigo (my favorite color) and tapped Rich Razzleberry and Lucky Limeade onto the stamp.  Then I added a little a little Dazzling Details for a little sparkle.

I then wanted to make a falling leaves card.  I was using the Autumn Accents Bigz Die for a wreath that I am making and thought, why not cut extra for a card.
The saying is from Day of Gratitude also.  I like to use up as much of my scraps as I can.  What is nice about using the dies is that you can cut more than one sheet of paper at a time.  Using my scraps and cutting 2 sheets at a time the bottom leaf came out.  I like it and thought, hhmmm let's keep it that way.  I also used the new Core'dinations card stock on some of the leaves.
Kathy really liked her cards.  How about you?

  1. The candy corn made from the pennant punch is such a cute idea.
