October Club Projects

Now that the club members have been able to make their cards, I thought, why not let you see what they made.  This month they made two fall cards and one Christmas card.  Need to get an early start on those Christmas cards.  It will be here before we know it.

This is the first fall card they did.

We used the  the Early Espresso Core'dinations Paper and the Wood Grain Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  Once you emboss the paper, we used the sanding block to  bring out the wood grain even more.  For the leaves, we used Whisper White Paper and colored a clear block with markers.  The colors we used were Bravo Burgundy, Pumpkin Pie, and Daffodil Delight.  Once you have the colors on the block, be sure to huff the block and then rub the paper on the block. (Trick to this is to have the the Autumn Accents Die underneath the block to use as a guide for where you want to add color to the block.)  Then use the Autumn Accents Die to cut out the leaves.

The second fall card we made is:

This one was pretty easy for them.  The hardest part was the ribbon.  For the grass, we used Certainly Celery and applied with a dauber.  We inked the whole tree in More Mustard and then used an Early Espresso marker for the trunk.

The last card we created was a quick Christmas Card.  One that you could set up an assembly line for.

What I really like about this card, is that you can use different colors just to change it up a little.  Can't you just see this in all the 2012/2014 In Colors?  I must say that I did see this card from another demonstrator.  I wish I kept better records on who created it.  If this is your design, please let me know so I can give you credit for it.
