Welcome to my new blog.

To start, I thought I would show you a picture of a card and box I made for a friends birthday.  She is very much a flower girl and I wanted to make a paper rose for her, hence a box for her card.

I use the Simply Scoring Tool to make the box and create the rose by using the ornament punch.  She was very surprised by the card and LOVED the rose.

Thanks for looking!

  2. Hi Nikki,

Thank you so much for stopping by. I really appreciate it. For the flower, I used 14-15 petals from the ornament punch and 2 scallop circles from the 1 3/4 scallop punch. One of the circles is the base that you glue the petals to and the other one you cut into a spiral, twist and glue to the center of the flower. I folded the petals by using a bone folder and sponged all of the petals. The card was a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. The box is 1" deep I think.
